Rockend was established in 1979 by Tony Maple-Brown. In the early years the company worked on a range of general accounting solutions before focusing on property and strata management applications. The first office was established in the small shipyard suburb of Waverton, on the north of Sydney Harbour.
Rockend has grown through selected acquisitions and by directly selling solutions to property professionals throughout Australia and New Zealand. Today the company supports over 4000 businesses employing more than 12,000 property and strata management users.

The majority of our over 130 permanent and contract staff, have more than 10 years real estate industry experience and collectively have worked in the property sector for more than 1000 years. This experience and the resulting understanding of our customer's business, drives our long term commitment to the industry.
Our primary products: REST Professional, STRATA Master and fileSMART, are recognised as being functionally rich, easy to use, technically stable and able to meet the wide ranging business needs of start-up offices, to the largest and most demanding operators in the industry.
